How We Work

Action- and Goal-Oriented

Combining years of business experience and specialized training in therapy and counseling, we will work with you to identify obstacles in your life that are preventing you from reaching your individual and/or relationship goals. We will create a comprehensive plan that effectively addresses these issues, along with concrete goals that allow us to remain focused on tangible accomplishments that truly meet your needs.

Utilize Evidence-Based Practices

We utilize evidence and research-based practices to provide optimal opportunity for your success. These may include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), EMDR Trauma Therapy, Art & Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Structural Family Therapy, and others as appropriate.

We are in a people business; connecting with you and helping you connect with those in your life. Life is a series of relationships in which we need to succeed to be truly happy and fulfilled in our relationships.

Relationship and Personal Success

Relationship and personal success are achieved in various ways, and each of us must decide what success means to us. Having clarity of where we want to go enables us to develop plans that will provide us with skills and action steps needed to reach our destination.

This is where the art of therapy comes in. There are practical tools and skills that can be used to enhance insight, resolve difficulties, and enhance your life and relationships, but not all tools work in all situations. Spending the time needed to work with you as a unique individual in a unique situation, we will together undertake the effort required to identify the tools that work for you and use them to develop a solution which meets your needs.
